Alicia Malone

Alicia was hired for FilmStruck which is a TCM streaming service, in the year 2015. Malone had recorded Robert Osborne's and Ben Mankiewicz's intros in preparation for her TCM host audition for broadcasting. She appeared in an audition for the Turner Classic Movies presenting position in 2017. The network appointed her in January of next year. Malone spoke about the challenges females face to face in the field of film during two TEDx talks. While still in high school in prep, Sarah was bitten by the acting bug from a young age. Her drama teacher spotted her cutting across his lawn in an effort not to be late for soccer practice, he instructed that she should not attend practice but be part of the cast in Richard III and thus began her adoration of acting. Sarah decided to take her love for this craft and further her education by majoring in English as well as Theatre at Hamilton College studying theatre overseas in London and Oxford during her senior year.
