Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights activist and charity philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition in her professional career and for her achievements within the field of International human rights laws. The clients she has worked with include the people of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government over the acknowledgement and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in the world of popular culture. Prior to that, the actress had been known for her success in representing her clients in courts and was well-known. Her work ranges from social justice issues and human rights issues to representing multinational companies during discussions or in court proceedings regarding federal regulations. In 2015, she's a barrister, which is a kind of legal representative for British court at the London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
